Our heater is on the fritz. Sometimes it works fine and sometimes--like all of last night--it blows cold air or none at all and refuses to budge from 50 degrees. It only takes a small failure in technology to realize how vulnerable we really are.
did you check the filter? ours stopped working and we realized that the filter needed to be changed and because it hadn't been changed in the last month or so, the lines had actually iced up and caused it to blow only cold air.
This is fixed, by the way! My parents called deathly worried. Turned out there was some junk on the sensor that tells the pilot light to turn off. Josh's uncle fixed it (for free, in a matter of minutes) and ta-da! Works like a charm.
