that's why we paid over $800 to menards in exchange for fencing. it was awful. our backyard was previously home to the neighborhood gang of six-year-olds, who ran wild during abigail's naptime, conducted lightsaber duels with our chimney, peered through our windows at the toys and then knocked on the door asking if they could play with them, plastered their faces against the windows while we were eating dinner, etc.
and don't even get me started on the dogs, which attempted to hunt down my child and defecated all over the lawn to the point where they killed all the grass. so very glad for that fence now. it was worth every penny and every minute out pouring concrete with cold-numbed hands.

South Provo, as I recall, is infested with little kids that want to hang out in a nice yard and make it a wreck, we had some of our own.
