Have you seen the site politifact.com?

It's a really nice resource, especially at this point in the election when mud slinging is at its peak. It's depressing, however, that both candidates have warranted the "pants on fire" rating on the truth-o-meter.

Not only does the site fact check fact-checkable claims, it also lays out very clearly the candidates' positions on major issues like taxes, the war in Iraq, energy, and health care. See this page for the latter. If only such clear information could come out in the debate. It's hard to disagree that Obama's plan, while slightly more expensive, is superior (at least in my biased opinion).
