Let it be remembered that 21 months was when Zoë started speaking almost exclusively in phrases and sentences.
Eat, sleep, play, and go are common verbs.
Songs lyrics are a favorite, especially Baa Baa Black Sheep, Amen!, ABCs, and 1,2,3,4 (Feist on Sesame Street).
She also often has conversations on her cell phone with puppies. And occasionally wakes up with the name Keeno! (one said puppy) on her sleepy lips.
Apparently she remembers events from several months ago (such as the installation of a new ceiling fan) that she's been dying to talk about but hasn't been able to fully express until now.
Watch what you say around her--it sticks.
