They are hilarious.
By the time we met up with these guys in Dresden, they had already undergone quite the ordeal: Jesse and Josh were to travel from Spain to meet Luke in Berlin, but Jesse had accidentally told Luke they were coming the next day, so Luke wasn't at the airport. That meant that Josh spent the next eight hours sitting at their arrival gate, while Jesse made his way across a crazy Berlin train system to the city's other airport. See, besides the mix-up on days, these two hadn't realized there were two airports in Berlin until they arrived, so they thought Luke might be at the other one. But he wasn't. When a chance email from Luke revealed the hostel where he was staying, Jesse and Josh got past the front desk in the middle of the night by saying they were with "the Americans" (Luke was with a highschool group). Then they entered one of "The Americans'" rooms randomly and started searching through the room for evidence that the kids sleeping in it were indeed from Timpview. When one of the kids woke up to find a couple of strangers in his room, Jesse asks him who he is. Classic.
Traveling with these three was a fun reminder of what Europe could be like at 17. It was also a fun reminder that I was glad I was 27 and had things like reservations.
I love these guys though. They were good natured, smart, helpful, and--obviously--good for a laugh.
