Watering can

Zoë's been sleeping most of the night in her new "big girl bed" now, but I still have to lie down with her until she falls asleep (often on top of me). This has the double negative effect of her not being able to fall asleep alone and me falling asleep along with her.

So last night I told her that if she could fall asleep while I sat in a chair next to her, she could pick out a toy the next day. It wasn't easy going, but she did finally do it.

She just called me to report on the toy she picked out (at the dollar store). It was a watering can. I love that out of all the toys she could have chosen, that's what she wanted. She's excited to water flowers with Mommy.
